Monogenea

Monogenea are a class of members of the invertebrates are included in the phylum Platyhelminthes. Animals of the class Monogenea parasites generally. These animals also did not have a body cavity. Monogenea have a simple digestive system that covers the hole of the mouth, gut, and anus. For example Noebenedenia.

In the early stages of his life, Monogenea have a hook-like organ called the posterior haptor. Adult animals have prohaptor (to eat) and opisthaptor (to stick). Monogenea can be found on the skin, fins, and gills of fish. Monogenea are usually hermaphroditic. Its life cycle does not have asexual reproduction. On reproductive eggs that would have produced the larval stage, called onkomirasidium. The adults eat the blood, mucus, and epithelial cells of its host.
